Cancellation Policy

New patients are asked to arrive 15 to 30 minutes early to complete any necessary paperwork. Scheduling methods: Our Offices typically allows patients to book appointments by using our online scheduling tool only this prevents mistakes and miscommunication. 2. Information required: When booking, patients must provide their name, contact information, insurance details, and the reason for the visit. This helps the practice prepare for the appointment. 3. New patient protocol: New patients are required to schedule their initial visit in advance, as certain procedures, like medication refills, will not be provided for a patient the doctor has not seen. 4. Online and in-person visits: Policies will specify whether an appointment is in-person, or a telehealth visit. 5. Automated reminders: Our office does send automated reminders via text, email, or phone call several days or hours before the appointment. 6. Advance notice: Our clinics require patients to give at least 24 hours' notice for a cancellation. For more complex procedures, 48 to 72 hours' notice may be required. Not doing so will result in a loss of the patients deposit. Definition of no-show: A "no-show" is a patient who misses a scheduled appointment without providing proper notice. A "late cancellation" is when notice is given outside of the required timeframe. Fees: Our office does charge a fee for no-show and late cancellations, which must be paid by the patient before their next appointment. Insurance companies do not cover this cost. Example: "$50 fee for a missed office visit if less than 24 hours' notice is given". Example: "No-show for a first new-patient appointment may result in a charge for the full new patient fee".
